Polymechanic – CNC Turner

Activities

Independent operation, setup and programming of CNC lathes, especially with Heidenhain control
Creation and optimisation of CNC programmes with CAM software (e.g. [Siemens NX, Mastercam, etc.])
Manufacture of high-precision components according to technical drawings and parts lists
Carrying out quality controls and tests on dimensional accuracy and tolerances
Maintenance and servicing of machines as well as troubleshooting
Documentation of work steps and produced parts

Requirements

Completed training as a polymechanic, cutting machine operator or comparable qualification
Solid experience in operating and programming CNC lathes, especially with Heidenhain control
Experience in CAM programming (e.g. Siemens NX, Mastercam, etc.)
Excellent knowledge in metalworking and manufacturing precision parts
Technical understanding and experience working with technical drawings
Independent and precise working method
Teamwork skills and willingness to work shifts (if required)
