Senior Accountant

In the Financial Accounting team, you help our bank implement and comply with regulatory requirements. You prepare monthly financial statements, SNB statistics, implement new requirements, and continuously optimise reporting and analysis processes. You enjoy working on projects.

To successfully master the new and complex regulations and reporting requirements, we are looking for a proactive reinforcement and strong personality for our Financial Accounting team.

• Preparation of SNB credit statistics
• Technical responsibility and participation in the project for the implementation of the EKE individual credit survey
• Partial preparation of financial statements according toFINMA RelV and FINMA RS 2020/1 accounting standards
• (Further) development and optimisation of business and reporting processes to improve operational efficiency
• Maintenance and further development of data models and reports
• Monitoring regulatory developments and implementing regulatory requirements in accounting and SNB statistics
• Participation and responsibility in further projects in accounting and regulatory reporting

• University/FH Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking or equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in the banking sector as well as knowledge of banking products and banking regulation with a focus on accounting and regulatory reporting
• Very good knowledge of SNB statistics, especially credit statistics and the new individual credit survey (EKE) is an advantage
• Targeted communication of regulatory topics to various stakeholders (e.g. management, regulators, internal departments) 
• Experience in project work, agile mindset as well as business engineering experience
• Ability to identify complex problems and develop innovative solutions
• Strong numerical aptitude as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Solid knowledge of SAP FI, SAP-BW and SAP-BA is an advantage, professional handling of Office programmes, especially Excel
• Team-oriented behaviour as well as precise and independent working style
• Very good German and English skills
