WHAT AWAITS YOU:
- Ensure that our construction machinery and equipment are operated, maintained and used efficiently in raw material extraction.
- You actively support the planning, execution and documentation of daily personnel and machine deployment and take on responsibility.
- When things get stuck, you keep a cool head. You independently assist with mechanical malfunctions on our equipment and machines – excavators, dump trucks and wheel loaders – and help to get operations up and running quickly and safely again.
- You lead by example. You consistently ensure strict compliance with our safety, quality and environmental standards and thus contribute to responsible operations.
- You play a key role in the digitalisation of our open-pit mine, evaluate machine characteristic data and fleet management systems, and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- You have completed a technical or manual vocational training and possess solid practical know-how.
- You are familiar with above-ground or underground rock extraction, understand the material behaviour and recognise process interrelationships thanks to your technical understanding.
- You have several years of sound experience operating large construction machinery and hold licences for categories M2, M3 and M7.
- Team spirit is important to you – you pitch in, remain resilient even in hectic phases and are open to new operational concepts and digital tools. A category B driving licence is required; remote pilot certificates A1/A3 and A2 are desirable.
- You have already gained some leadership experience and communicate fluently in German; English skills are a great advantage.
