Tasks

• You are the nursing contact person responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the care process, involving the social environment and the internal and external network.
• You shape everyday life together with the residents in a family-like setting – from cooking and eating together, housekeeping to actively shaping leisure time.
• You actively and enthusiastically contribute to the further development of the nursing services in your living group by bringing in yourself and your ideas and helping to shape the broad scope for action.
• You support the Dementia Specialist in accompanying the team in challenging situations, work closely with the professional network and actively engage in the further development and implementation of our dementia concept.
• You support learners and students from various health and social care training programmes in developing their skills.

Profile

• Passion for the concept of care living groups and for helping to create a pleasant home for the residents
• Interest in the field of dementia and willingness to take on a corresponding specialist role in the medium term
• Training as a certified nursing specialist HF/FH with SRK recognition for diplomas from abroad as well as additional training in the field of dementia or willingness to complete such training
• Resilience and enjoyment in taking responsibility and using the scope for action of an independent living group
• Willingness to pass on your expertise, strong leadership skills and enjoyment in active participation

The annual salary for this position ranges from CHF 85,228 to CHF 113,882 (100%) depending on experience.

The Health Centres for the Elderly of the City of Zurich are one of the largest geriatric institutions in Switzerland. We are the leading service provider in the elderly care sector – with competence, heart and a comprehensive range of services from a single source.

The care living groups of the Health Centres for the Elderly consist of manageable shared flats and specialise in the needs of people with dementia and people with psychiatric conditions. The care living groups are located in various districts of the City of Zurich. Here you work together with between 6-10 colleagues.
