Train Preparer Level B2

Your tasks
As a member of the train preparation team, you contribute significantly to operational safety and carry out technical departure or en route inspections. You check freight wagons and loads and independently rectify any identified damages and defects where possible. You conduct quality checks according to AVV / UIC 471-3 (RID) and work closely with locomotive drivers, the control centre, external partners, and the shunting team staff. Additionally, you carry out interventions on freight trains in the German-speaking part of Switzerland in the event of incidents.
Your profile
We are looking for a committed and team-oriented individual with a strong solution focus and an independent working style. Ideally, you have training as a visitor/wagon master or a comparable technical qualification in the rail sector. Several years of professional experience and knowledge of international freight transport are desirable. You communicate confidently in German, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of Italian and French is an advantage. Willingness to work shifts (24/7) and a category B driving licence are required.
