Introduction
The Aarefisch Swimming Club is the largest swimming club in the canton of Aargau and, as the main location of the Argovia Aquatics Center, a committed base for youth development of Swiss Aquatics with motivated swimmers at various performance levels.
The swimming school affiliated with the club is also one of the largest in Aargau, currently with around 500 children, adolescents and adults learning to swim.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual as an Accounting Clerk including Invoicing (30%-50%) from December 2026 (or by arrangement).
Tasks
Your main tasks include:
- Independent management of the club's accounting (posting of documents and processing of payment runs)
- Invoicing to members and customers of the swimming school
- Independent checking, coding and posting of customer and member invoices (member administration)
- Accounts receivable & accounts payable accounting as well as payroll and fee accounting
- Management of fixed assets/member accounting
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- General interface function to the finance director of the board and the auditors
- Preparation of liquidity planning
- Expense accounting
Qualifications
Your profile:
- Completed training and further education as an accounting clerk
- Professional experience in finance and accounting as well as payroll accounting
- Structured, precise and punctual working style with a high quality standard
- Responsible personality
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel, as well as experience with accounting software
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
For this varied role, we are looking for a person who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility. Furthermore, you are keen to continuously question and optimise work processes. You are used to organising and prioritising the tasks independently and handle temporarily higher workloads calmly (start of the swimming school semester).
