Copper Telecommunications Installer (m/f/d)

Copper Telecommunications Installer (m/f/d)

Regions: Bern, Aargau, Zurich Oberland and/or Eastern Switzerland (preferred region can be specified in the application).

Your tasks

• Working in the copper network as part of daily operations and fault service

• Connecting and terminating copper cables

• Troubleshooting and fault analysis in the field

• Splicing and terminating fibre optic cables in the FTTH and backbone areas

• Working on joints, ODF, patch panels and termination boxes

• Simple measurements and clean documentation of work

• Collaboration with construction and project management

Your profile

• Technical basic training in electrical, telecommunications or network construction or comparable experience

• Experience in copper networks is absolutely essential

• Good knowledge in connecting, splicing, terminating and fault clearing of copper cables

• Experience in fibre optics, especially in splicing and terminating fibre optic cables

• Confident handling of splicing devices

• Independent, clean and reliable working style

• Driving licence category B is mandatory

• Good German language skills
