The Swiss Red Cross Canton Aargau is committed with 130 employees and around 950 volunteers in the areas of relief, social integration, and education. We advocate for the promotion of health based on the Red Cross principles for people in need in the Canton of Aargau.
For our executive board, we are seeking by agreement a Head of Relief & Social Integration as a member of the executive board (100%)
Your tasks – diverse and meaningful
- In this key role, you directly lead seven team leaders and bear the content-related and business management responsibility for a service area with 50 employees and 250 volunteers.
- Your area includes two outpatient day structures in Frick and Aarau, the Red Cross relief service, the youth Red Cross, as well as other offers of "social integration" provided by Red Cross volunteers.
- You ensure a qualitatively and quantitatively high-quality service offering and continuously develop it along Red Cross standards and a consistently customer-oriented service culture.
- In addition, you lead area-specific and overarching projects within the framework of the strategic and operational corporate goals.
- As a member of the executive board, you take on cross-departmental leadership tasks, participate in national and regional working groups, and represent the Red Cross Canton Aargau internally and externally.
What you bring with you
- For this versatile role, you have a qualification in healthcare, social work, or care at HF, FH, or university level and bring solid leadership experience in theory and practice as well as sound business management knowledge.
- Experience in project management, proficient ICT/ERP skills, and confident handling of key figures are part of your credentials.
- You are a strong implementation-oriented leader with a professional appearance who inspires people for common goals and approaches even demanding challenges in a solution-oriented and determined manner.
- Appreciation and interest in dealing with others come naturally to you.
- A good network in the Canton of Aargau is an advantage.
