About the job
Our client is a Europe-wide operating, specialised provider for demanding mechanical manufacturing in the Toggenburg region (Wattwil SG). To strengthen the team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an electrician or automation technician for assembly of modules. Have you (almost) completed your apprenticeship or already have experience? Both are warmly welcome with us – we will train you carefully.Electrician / Automation Technician EFZ (m/f) 80-100% - also for recent graduates
Your new tasks:- General assembly of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical modules according to technical drawings
- Wiring and installation of electrical components, including PLC controls
- Quality inspection and documentation of assembled modules (including platform lift systems for rail vehicles)
- Carrying out module assembly both inside and outside the cleanroom
- Workpiece cleaning using modern fine cleaning equipment
What you bring:
- Completed basic training as an automation technician, electrician or mechanical basic training – also fresh from apprenticeship
- Professional experience is an advantage but not a requirement – recent graduates are explicitly welcome
- Good technical understanding and manual skills
- Confident reading and understanding of technical drawings and electrical circuit diagrams
- Quality-conscious, precise and reliable working style
- Team player
