Introduction

For our trading and service company in the mechanical engineering industry, we are looking for an accounting clerk (m/f) for a permanent position starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Tasks

Management of ongoing financial accounting

Accounts payable and receivable accounting

Posting and reconciliation of bank and payment accounts

Control and execution of payment transactions

Monitoring of open items and dunning

Preparation or creation of VAT returns

Payroll accounting including social security and withholding tax

Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

Collaboration with trustees, insurance companies, social security institutions and authorities

General administrative tasks in the area of accounting and finance

Qualifications

For this position, you ideally bring the following qualifications:

Commercial training or comparable qualification

Professional experience in accounting in Switzerland

Good knowledge of Swiss accounting and VAT

Experience in payroll accounting is an advantage

Confident handling of Excel and common accounting software Abacus

Very good knowledge of German

Independent, structured and careful working style

Reliability, sense of responsibility and discretion

Requirements

You have completed a vocational apprenticeship or have corresponding commercial further education and retraining.
