Over 270 motivated teachers teach around 2,200 schoolchildren with great commitment. The Reitmen Secondary School is one of two secondary schools in Schlieren. Kindergartens and primary classes are also housed in the same school building. The schools in Schlieren are QUIMS schools and actively promote equal opportunities and integration. At our location, we have a support centre with a variety of support services for pupils. The collaboration with the school remedial teachers is close and characterised by regular professional exchange. In addition, we are developing a gifted education programme and continuously expanding our offerings for high-achieving and particularly interested pupils.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Specialist Teacher German as a Second Language (DaZ) 51% (14 WL)

Your tasks

• Supporting young people in acquiring the German language
• Assessing language levels and documenting learning progress
• Planning and designing DaZ lessons at secondary level
• Developing individual support measures
• Close cooperation with teachers, parents, school social work and other professionals
• Active involvement in school and lesson development

Your profile

• EDK-recognised teaching diploma with German subject profile
• Enjoyment in working with young people
• Interest in language support, integration and individual guidance
• Team spirit, initiative and a positive attitude
• Experience in DaZ teaching or language support

We would also be pleased if you have

• Qualification in German as a Second Language (DaZ) or willingness to acquire it
• Interest in support and gifted education programmes
• Enjoyment in interdisciplinary collaboration
