We are looking for an International Transport & Logistics Specialist for our client to strengthen their team based in the Conthey region.
You will play a central role in managing and optimising national and international transport flows, with a strong focus on coordination, compliance and performance improvement.
Your responsibilities
Transport management
Organise and coordinate shipments, receipts and internal transfers.
Plan national and international transport: road, air and sea.
Ensure follow-up of operations with various carriers and logistics partners.
Manage transport-related incidents: delays, losses, damage and potential disputes.
Check the accuracy and compliance of transport and customs documents.
Participate in negotiating rates and conditions with service providers.
Optimisation & performance
Analyse transport costs and identify optimisation opportunities.
Implement and monitor performance indicators (KPIs).
Participate in evaluating carriers according to various criteria: costs, deadlines, quality and reliability.
Propose solutions to improve flow efficiency and their environmental impact.
Traceability & compliance
Participate in monitoring transport operation compliance.
Ensure flow monitoring and identify any anomalies.
Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of traceability tools.
Participate in monitoring and combating the grey market for products.
Collaborate with various internal departments to secure flows.
Your profile
You have training in logistics, transport or Supply Chain, ideally complemented by a Federal Diploma in forwarding/international logistics, Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification.
You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a transport, logistics or Supply Chain environment, ideally with an international dimension.
The following are essential:
DGR certification – Air transport of dangerous goods.
Good knowledge of regulations related to international transport.
Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
Good command of IT tools, notably ERP, TMS and Excel.
You are recognised for your:

Responsiveness and ability to manage unforeseen events.
Interpersonal ease and negotiation skills.
Team spirit and ability to collaborate with different departments.
Experience in compliance, traceability or combating the grey market is an advantage.
