At Ampersand, fire is at the centre of attention. We grill over an open flame, develop our seasonal dishes together, and are looking for a personality who takes responsibility, leads a team of 4–6 kitchen staff, inspires, and cooks with passion.
We use exclusively Swiss meat as well as high-quality products from local suppliers.
Around the globe, grilling is celebrated with various influences and in different ways. This diversity is tangibly lived at Restaurant Ampersand. Here, we transform meat, vegetables, fish, and even sweets on the visible charcoal grill into real delicacies. - You are responsible for the preparation and cooking of dishes at your station
- You professionally prepare meat, fish, vegetables, and other products on the open charcoal grill
- You ensure the desired cooking levels and consistently high product quality
- You light the grill properly and take care of its operation and cleaning
- You consistently adhere to our recipes as well as hygiene and safety regulations
- You contribute to the development of new dishes and seasonal grill offers
- You have completed training as a cook EFZ and have professional experience
- You bring solid expertise and experience with grilling and handling open fire
- You enjoy working with high-quality products and in a small team
- You work responsibly, safely, and reliably
- You are willing to work weekends and with overnight shifts
