In this versatile and exciting role, you will support and relieve the operational units in Basel as a cage cleaning employee, temporarily until June.
Your main tasks:
- Cleaning and sterilization of cages, racks, and drinking bottles
- Preparation and provision of cages (bedding and "animal bedding")
- Cleaning of disposal and supply washing systems
- Cleaning of autoclaves
- Maintenance cleaning of the central laundry
- Logistics (receipt of delivery, storage, and inventory)
- Disposal of BL1 waste
- Autoclaving and disposal of BL2 waste
- Support for annual cleaning and laboratory cleaning
Your profile:
- Completed training
- Work experience in the hygiene area is an advantage
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
- Good knowledge of German required
- Proactive with good team spirit and initiative
