Ensuring electricity in Switzerland

In this exciting role, you are responsible for coordinating on-site work at our facilities during new constructions, renewals, and expansion activities. Among other tasks, you will take on the following responsibilities:

• Assuming facility responsibility according to EN50110 during the construction phase and close collaboration with the operational contact person of the facility, as well as the project managers
• Monitoring and compliance with safety rules (Health & Safety), environmental regulations, as well as Swissgrid internal instructions, processes, and guidelines through regular audits
• Checking and ensuring electrical safety on site in our grid construction projects
• Creating and instructing work orders before and during the work, accompanying necessary switching measures in coordination with the operational contact person of the facility, system control, and other involved parties
• Representing the client on site and ensuring occupational safety
• Central point of contact for internal and external partners
• You support the safe working practices of Swissgrid and its partners and actively promote the "Safety First" culture

For this responsible position, we are looking for a team-oriented but also independently acting personality with strong cooperation and communication skills. With your good negotiation techniques, you can assert your opinion even with service providers and authorities. Additionally, you bring the following qualifications:

• Vocational training in electrical engineering
• Further education as a technician HF with a degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification is an advantage
• Expertise in plant construction according to the High Voltage Ordinance, Art. 3 No. 23, is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience related to work in plant construction (power plants, high-voltage facilities, industrial plants)
• Technical knowledge of primary and/or secondary technical equipment of the plants
• Strong conceptual skills and an independent working style
• Good IT skills and user knowledge of the MS Office suite, SAP, GIS, and BIM methodologies
• Willingness for multi-day assignments outside the office location at construction sites in your language region
• Fluent and negotiation-secure knowledge of German, ideally with advanced knowledge of French
