Head of Emergency Department (a) 80–100%
Your tasks
- You take over the professional, personnel, and organizational management of our emergency department in Langnau and are jointly responsible for the quality and development of nursing
- You ensure professional, safe, and patient-oriented care according to the nursing mission statement of Emmental Hospital and the skill and grade mix concept
- You are (co-)responsible for the staffing plan and recruitment of new employees in your area, ensure personnel development, and adhere to the department budget
- You ensure customer-oriented and interdisciplinary collaboration and regularly work in day-to-day operations
- In addition, you organize, coordinate, and structure the relevant processes in a resource-oriented manner
Your profile
- You are a certified nurse (AKP/DN II/HF/FH) with additional training as NDS Emergency Nursing and have several years of professional experience in acute care as well as management training or the willingness to complete such training
- Ideally, you bring leadership experience in a comparable function
- You are a committed, proactive, and open personality with pronounced professional and social competence, able to inspire, motivate, and strengthen employees
- You treat people with respect and appreciation, and the well-being of patients is at the center of your work
- You practice your profession with joy, enjoy working in a team, think and act networked and service-oriented
- You approach conflicts solution-oriented and promote the personal responsibility of your employees
