Skilled Worker Nature Conservation Maintenance

The Canton of Zurich possesses a treasure of valuable landscapes that serve as habitats for plants, animals, and are of great importance to people. With a 14-member team, the Nature Conservation Office at the depot in Pfäffikon ZH carries out specialised work to enhance and maintain these areas.

Your tasks

• Maintain/enhance and care for nature conservation areas
• Control of various problematic species
• Perform specialised tasks and various species protection measures

Your profile

• Completed vocational/technical EFZ training (e.g. forestry, agriculture, gardening/landscaping)
• Basic knowledge in species and habitat protection
• Enjoyment of nature
• Skillful operation of machines and vehicles (driving licence B/BE, willingness to obtain C)
• Physically fit
