Around 700 employees from engineering, product management, manufacturing, logistics, sales and services work closely together here: engineers continuously develop new solutions, while the production and logistics teams ensure that the sensors arrive at the customers in Baumer quality and on time.

In our development team, you will develop innovative inductive sensor solutions for demanding industrial applications. You will accompany products from the initial idea to series maturity and actively contribute your know-how in an interdisciplinary environment.

What I drive

• Developing electronic circuits for the next generation of inductive sensor solutions
• Developing embedded firmware for microcontroller-based sensor systems
• Selecting and integrating electronic components with regard to functionality, quality and cost-effectiveness
• Ensuring EMC-compliant implementation together with our PCB specialists
• Commissioning, testing and validating new products and prototypes
• Accompanying the entire development process from the concept phase to series maturity
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams from development and production

What it takes

• Completed degree (FH) in electrical engineering
• Experience in the development of electronic circuits
• Enjoyment of programming embedded firmware
• Knowledge in circuit design and EMC, ideally with Altium Designer
• Analytical thinking and structured working method
• Team spirit, initiative and enthusiasm for technical challenges
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
