In order to complete its team, the Chair of European Law is looking for a Graduate Assistant.
Job-related Information
Start date: 01.11.2025 or to be agreed
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Activity rate: 80%
Workplace: CDCEI, Lausanne Dorigny
Your Activities
- 50% for the completion of a doctoral thesis in one of the Chair's research areas (EU law, particularly constitutional law and immigration asylum law; Switzerland-EU relations; Europeanization of Swiss law and policies)
- 50% for assistance (support for the teaching and research of the Chair)
Your Profile
This opportunity is intended for individuals holding a Master's degree in law with the following profile:
• possessing good knowledge of European law and/or relations between Switzerland and the EU;
knowledge or a strong demonstrable interest in the research themes of the unit (see above)
is an additional asset;
• having demonstrated writing skills in French and a good knowledge of English; a good
knowledge of German is an additional asset;
• having a strong interest in research and a strong motivation for writing a doctoral thesis; research
experience, even publications, is an additional asset;
• mastering office tools;
• organized, autonomous, and precise
