We are looking for a:

Team Leader Painting Department (100%)

To strengthen our production team, we are seeking an engaged leader as Team Leader Painting Department (100%) to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

• Personnel and technical leadership of the painting team (powder, wet paint, blasting, pretreatment)
• Planning and coordination of daily work: deploying capacities, materials, and personnel where needed
• Creating and recording orders in the ERP system including work documents for production
• Keeping an eye on deadlines, quality, and cost-effectiveness; recognising bottlenecks early and implementing solutions
• Providing technical support to the team on demanding orders; assisting in production only during bottlenecks or emergencies
• Ensuring the required quality: layer thickness, adhesion, appearance, as well as testing and documentation processes
• Technical clarifications with customers and cost calculation
• Disposition of powder, paints, blasting media, and consumables
• Training, coaching, and development of employees as well as supervising apprentices
• Compliance with occupational safety, environmental, and quality standards (ISO 9001 / 14001)
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of processes and equipment

Your Profile

• Completed apprenticeship EFZ as industrial painter, vehicle painter, or equivalent
• Further training as industrial painting specialist (federal certificate) or comparable is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in industrial painting, ideally in powder coating and wet painting
• Initial leadership experience – you have already led or technically guided people
• Very good technical understanding and high quality awareness
• Organisational talent who keeps an overview even under deadline pressure
• Clear, appreciative communication and enjoyment of teamwork
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; confident MS Office and ERP knowledge
