About the Swiss Finance & Property Group
The Swiss Finance & Property Group (SFP Group) is an internationally active financial service provider headquartered in Switzerland and includes an independent fund management company as well as a securities firm. Since its founding over 20 years ago, the SFP Group has specialized in the entire value chain of real estate and infrastructure investments. It offers a wide range of real estate products and services as well as infrastructure solutions and capital market transactions.
Your Responsibilities
The Swiss Finance & Property Group is looking for an experienced senior personality as Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to start immediately or by agreement. In this role, you bear overall responsibility for the legal support of the group's central business activities and act as a sparring partner for management in complex regulatory and legal issues.
In this role, you are responsible for the legal advice of the specialist departments as well as the management in a demanding, regulated environment. You assess, structure, and accompany legal issues along the entire value chain of the SFP Group, especially in financial market and real estate law as well as supervisory law (including collective investment schemes and foundation law).
You are responsible for the legal drafting and negotiation of essential contracts and accompany strategic projects from a legal and regulatory perspective. Communication with supervisory authorities, especially FINMA, also falls within your area of responsibility, as does the coordination and management of external legal advisors. Furthermore, you ensure consistent, risk-appropriate legal application within the group and make a significant contribution to the further development and governance-compliant design of legal processes, policies, and contract documents. You monitor regulatory developments proactively and derive necessary actions and adjustments for the company.
Your Perspective
You can expect a responsible key position with sustainable impact in an entrepreneurial, regulated financial group. The role offers direct influence on central legal, regulatory, and governance-relevant issues of the group.
Our Requirements
You have a completed law degree; a Swiss bar admission is an advantage. Ideally, you have gained many years of professional experience both in a renowned law firm and in a responsible in-house function. You are accustomed to independently assessing complex legal and regulatory issues and developing clear, sustainable decision-making bases for management.
Your working style is characterized by analytical sharpness, judgment, and a strong sense of responsibility. You think entrepreneurially, act pragmatically, and move confidently in a highly regulated environment. Very good German and good English skills are required.
Our Offer
- A dynamic environment where you can make a significant impact
- Competitive remuneration
- Generous social benefits
- Possibility to work from home
- Promotion and support of your personal and professional development
- Modern office facilities
- Good connection to public transport
We look forward to receiving your complete online application including a cover letter. Please note that applications by email or post as well as dossiers from recruitment agencies will not be considered.
