The Assurance Financial Services department provides audit and advisory services for national and international financial service providers. With our innovative services in auditing globally and regionally active banking and (social) insurance companies, pension funds and asset management companies, we make an important contribution to the stability of the financial markets and thus put our purpose "Building a better Working World" into practice in our daily work with our clients.

Our Financial Services Organisation EMEIA is the only one among the Big4 firms with functional and cross-country specialisation in the financial services sector.

We are looking for you as an Audit Manager or Assistant Audit Manager in Zurich

The Opportunity

As an auditor, you have the unique chance to gain deep insights into the economic concepts of a variety of financial service providers and to establish interesting relationships at the highest level.

Your key responsibilities

• As Audit Manager / Assistant Manager, you lead the audit of annual financial statements of national insurance companies, social security institutions as well as pension funds and other financial service providers, including regulatory audits and special audits
• You assess the processes and internal controls in the key business areas of our clients
• Together with the lead auditor, you take responsibility for reporting the audit results to the board of directors, management and FINMA
• You are one of the central contacts for clients and continuously deepen client relationships
• You lead a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the professional guidance of your team members. Through your on-the-job coaching, you make a significant contribution to the further training of your team members.
• Together with your team, you drive the digitalisation of on-site audits at the client and thus ensure an efficient and value-adding audit service

Skills and attributes for success

You bring:

• Successful completion of training as a certified auditor is a prerequisite
• You preferably have professional experience in Financial Services audit
• Integrity, respect and teamwork are among your core principles and values.
• You have energy, enthusiasm and the courage to lead.
• You have a flair for numbers and are motivated to expand your experience in using modern data analysis methods.
• You appreciate interacting with other people – whether directly with our clients or with your future team colleagues.
• You feel comfortable in an international environment and can express yourself fluently in German and English, both spoken and written.
