About the job

The National Roads Area VI department of the Civil Engineering Office of the Canton of St.Gallen makes a significant contribution to the safety of the national roads in the cantons of Glarus, Thurgau and St.Gallen with its maintenance work. For this purpose, the area unit has four depots in Thal, Mels, Biäsche and Oberbüren as well as two bases in St.Gallen and Müllheim.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Finance and Administration Clerk (m/f/d)

for the National Roads Area VI, Biäsche Depot, from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement

Workload: 60-80%

Workplace: Weesen

What to expect

• Processing and checking of creditor invoices
• Processing of daily work and material reports
• Absence control (holidays, illness, accident, etc.)
• Administrative support of the Biäsche Depot filling station
• Preparation of accident and damage reports
• Assistance with special tasks within accounting
• Support for the Depot Manager and the Southern Electrical Maintenance Manager in organisational and administrative matters as well as handling telephone enquiries

• Several years of professional experience
• Independent, proactive and communicative personality
• Quick comprehension and high resilience
• Good MS Office user skills
