Shiptec AG is looking for an experienced individual as Project Manager Shipbuilding Projects (80-100%, permanent) by arrangement.
Shiptec AG is a subsidiary of SGV Holding AG. With its engineering office and shipyard, it provides technical services in the areas of ship design and engineering, shipbuilding, ship revisions, conversions, and ship maintenance in a national and international environment.
Your area of responsibility
- Planning, management and controlling of shipbuilding, conversion and modernisation projects
- Leading interdisciplinary project teams
- Review of project feasibility as well as the necessary technical clarifications and evaluations
- Preparation of cost calculations, offers and project documentation
- Ensuring efficient collaboration with customers, suppliers, authorities and internal as well as external partners
- Supporting marketing & sales as well as purchasing with technical expert knowledge
- Contributing to the further development of processes, standards and methods in project management
Requirements profile
- Completed studies as a shipbuilding, mechanical or electrical engineer FH, ETH or TU
- Further training and/or sound knowledge in project management
- Experience in applying classical as well as agile project management methods
- Several years of experience in managing complex technical projects, ideally in shipbuilding, mechanical or plant engineering
- Business understanding as well as knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Communicative, assertive and solution-oriented personality with a strong customer focus
