As a Business Analyst in our Contract Lifecycle & Customer Care team, you are part of an interdisciplinary DevSecOps Scrum team consisting of 6 application developers, 2 cloud engineers, and a product owner. Together you drive the development of our customer and contract management software, consisting of several microservices and a frontend application.
Your Responsibilities
- You develop solutions for business requirements and issues from Customer Care, Product Management, and other departments within the interdisciplinary team, contributing your own ideas and optimizations
- You break these down into epics and stories, are responsible for refinement, and coordinate implementation, possibly across teams
- You support the PO in prioritizing the backlog according to Smile’s overall prioritization and ensure that bugs and technical debts are promptly eliminated
- Together with the other Business Analysts, you are responsible for cross-team documentation and understand the contexts and processes
- You are responsible for acceptance testing and support developers in designing automated tests
- You coordinate and accompany the productive rollout
- You ensure support within the team, assist in resolving incidents, and take care of sustainable solutions
Your Qualifications
- You have been working as a Business Analyst in a software development team for at least 3 years
- You have a degree in computer science / business informatics or an equivalent qualification
- You are interested in internal applications, new technologies, and enjoy the digital insurance world #Insurtech
- You can prepare complex business and technical processes and solutions simply and quickly for your team and its stakeholders
- You have extensive experience with Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management; furthermore, you are familiar with SQL and Swagger. Ideally, you also have experience with AWS.
- You can communicate very well in German and well in English with your colleagues (both spoken and written).
