As part of our growth strategy, we have the following position to fill:
Metrology Technician / Quality Inspector 80-100% (m/f)
Your tasks:
Inspection of incoming goods and ensuring a smooth processExecution of first article, random sample, and incoming goods inspections using modern measuring instruments such as length and diameter measuring devices, measuring microscopes, and coordinate measuring machinesCreation of inspection reports as well as documentation of errors, deviations, and complaintsConducting error and damage analyses and developing appropriate corrective and improvement measuresCreation and review of initial sample inspection reportsPreparation of quality reports including error and damage analysesProgramming and operation of 3D coordinate measuring machines (Mitutoyo)Processing, documenting, and tracking supplier complaints as well as communication with suppliersSupport in clarifying and documenting customer complaints in cooperation with project managementCoordination of inspection planning for incoming goods control in close collaboration with productionActive optimisation and further development of existing inspection processesMaintenance, calibration, and proper use of testing equipment and measuring machines
Your qualifications
Completed vocational training as a polymechanic or comparable technical educationSeveral years of professional experience as a quality inspector, preferably in the metalworking industrySuccessfully completed further training in metrology or willingness to undertake itExperience with modern measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machinesStrong interest in error, cause, and damage analysesIndependent, structured, and reliable working styleHigh quality awareness and sense of responsibilityGood communication skills and enjoyment of teamworkGood knowledge of German; English skills are an advantage but not essential
