About the job
Our institution has developed over time into a modern centre for special education, which covers today's needs in the special and social education sector with a diverse range of services. Around 240 people work in the areas of special school, boarding school, therapy, integrative special educational measures, services and administration.
The area for integrative special educational measures (ISM) supports around 100 children and young people in the mainstream schools of Wasseramt (excluding Zuchwil) in the canton of Solothurn.
To complement our ISM teams, we are looking for a
Special Needs Educator / Special Needs Educator Integration (ISM), 20-60%, from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement
Actively participate
- As a school special needs educator, you accompany children and young people with impairments and/or difficulties in the areas of learning, development and behaviour in mainstream school
- Diagnostic assessment and individual, integrative support of children and young people
- Close collaboration within the interdisciplinary team and with the guardians
- Plan and implement motivating and goal-oriented remedial teaching
- Advisory role towards parents, school and authorities
