Your Tasks

• Independent development and implementation of sustainable purchasing strategies for electronic components and parts, taking into account quality, cost-effectiveness, and supply security
• Strategic support and continuous development of an international supplier network with the aim of building long-term and successful partnerships
• Independent management of demanding price and contract negotiations as well as the development of economically attractive procurement solutions
• Identification and realisation of savings potential through targeted market analyses, supplier comparisons, and optimisation of existing purchasing structures
• Ongoing monitoring of international procurement markets, technological developments, and potential supply risks
• Evaluation and selection of new suppliers considering technical requirements, quality standards, and economic criteria
• Close collaboration with the departments of development, production, and quality management, especially in the introduction of new products and components
• Active participation in the further development of procurement processes as well as in the optimisation of supplier and product group strategies
• Ensuring reliable material supply through forward-looking planning and early identification of possible bottlenecks

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing within a manufacturing industrial company, ideally with an international orientation
• Sound knowledge in purchasing electronic components as well as a good understanding of technical contexts and industrial manufacturing processes
• Proven experience in the selection, support, and development of international suppliers
• Strong negotiation skills and a good sense of economic contexts, market mechanisms, and cost structures
• Analytical and structured thinking with the ability to assess complex procurement situations and develop suitable solutions
• Independent, responsible, and goal-oriented personality who makes decisions and can convincingly represent their interests
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration with technical and commercial departments
• Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, and motivation to critically question existing processes and actively further develop them
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Completed technical or commercial basic training with corresponding further education or an advanced degree in a relevant field
