Class and annual salary (including 13th month):
6 68,456.-- / 107,475.--
Tasks:
- promotes technical and instrumental knowledge related to intellectual development and logical abilities, with particular attention to developmental psychopathology
- promotes a flexible and differentiated intervention model to respond to every new demand, allowing the creative development of continuous pedagogical-didactic strategies
- mainly carries out learning support activities in an individualised or small group setting, according to the severity of the pathology or therapeutic needs
- participates in some meetings of the care unit
- maintains and develops contacts with the external network (schools, families and involved services), facilitating the sharing of relevant information and continuity of the educational and therapeutic pathway
- collaborates with the originating schools to adapt pedagogical-didactic objectives to the clinical situation of the user
- participates, if necessary, in interdisciplinary network meetings
Requirements:
- elementary school teaching qualification issued by the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland/Department of Education and Learning (SUPSI/DFA), the Higher Pedagogical School (ASP) of Locarno or recognised by the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Directors of Public Education (CDPE), teaching licence
- knowledge of French is required, certified in the diploma issued or in the CDPE recognition, or by a recognised B2 level certification according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; teaching qualification for Ticino elementary schools supplemented by teaching experience
- previous experience in teaching children with psychological vulnerabilities and psychiatric disorders
- availability and motivation for multidisciplinary team work
- knowledge of the territory, institutions and social-health network of the Canton Ticino
- excellent knowledge of the Italian language (conversation and writing) (level C2)

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
