What Awaits You
In your role, you are responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of applications and systems in the area of asset management. You support the transformation of existing applications and ensure that interfaces are modernized and optimized for seamless integration with other systems. In doing so, you work closely with the specialist teams in asset management, the development teams, and other stakeholders to create a scalable, secure, and efficient IT landscape.
Here is how you contribute with us:
- You are responsible for designing technical solutions for Baloise Asset Management.
- You take care of the analysis and optimization of both existing and new system landscapes and solution architectures.
- You lead and formulate architecture-based IT requirements considering demands and target architectures.
- You act as a link between IT architecture designs and stakeholders: ensuring smooth communication, coordination, and collaboration, and are responsible for deliverables.
- You continuously consult with our partners and customers during solution development or improvement to optimally adapt the solution to customer needs.
- You advise management and our customers and ensure that the group IT strategy is adhered to, providing valuable input for group-wide strategy development.
Your Team
You are a member of the Architecture Circle in Group IT. Each of your six colleagues has their own focus and specialization as an architect. Your main stakeholders are our colleagues from asset management, especially the teams in the areas of Real Estate, Treasury, Private Assets, and Liquid Assets.

Your professional qualifications:
- solid know-how in leading technologies and strong integration competence
- experience in IT and business architecture as well as application system landscapes
- high solution and architecture competence in modern application architectures
- profound knowledge and experience in asset management or banking
- overview of complex system landscapes and the ability to present them appropriately for the target audience, as well as the competence to align architecture and business requirements and develop corresponding roadmaps
- fluent German, English, and French are an advantage
