Your Profile:
You have a business administration education at the HF/FH/University level.
Ideally, you have additional training in mechanical engineering/machine technology or a comparable technical further education.
You bring several years of professional experience in the heavy equipment environment, preferably related to quarries, gravel, cement, or mining operations.
You are a communicative personality with pronounced coordination skills.
You have a customer- and service-oriented mindset as well as entrepreneurial understanding.
You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and with high perseverance.
You communicate confidently in German and English, as well as well in French.
You are willing to travel about 40% within the region.
Your Area of Responsibility:
You are responsible for the strategic procurement of the Mining category (equipment, external services, consumables) as well as Heavy Mobile and Onroad Equipment in Central Europe West – with a consistent focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Your tasks include developing and implementing sustainable category strategies to optimize costs, quality, and efficiency.
You conduct national and international tenders and manage complex contract and price negotiations to successful completion.
The establishment, further development, and performance management of strategic supplier partnerships are in your hands.
Together with technical and operational stakeholders, you identify and realize potentials through demand bundling and specification optimization.
Furthermore, you ensure compliance with global, regional, and local procurement standards and manage your area of responsibility based on clearly defined KPIs.
