What you can achieve
- Responsibility for central tasks in Service Management and Control (SMC) with a focus on monitoring, metering and logging
- Ensuring that operational data, metrics and logs are complete, analysable and available for monitoring, fault analysis and evidence documentation
- Development and further enhancement of observability and monitoring solutions to ensure stable and transparent operational platforms
- Analysis of system behaviour, performance and availability as well as support in incident and problem management
- Maintenance and optimisation of logging and analysis platforms with a focus on the ELK stack and modern monitoring environments
- Participation in data engineering processes for the structured processing and evaluation of operational system data
- Support with security, compliance and audit requirements in the area of monitoring and evidence documentation
- Close collaboration with engineering, operations and platform teams for continuous optimisation of service quality
What you bring with you
- Training or degree in computer science, systems engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- Extensive experience in operating monitoring, logging and observability solutions in complex IT systems
- Very good knowledge of the ELK stack such as Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana as well as handling metrics and operational data
- Experience in observability and monitoring as well as a good understanding of data engineering
- Knowledge of network protocols, cloud platforms and containerisation is an advantage
- Understanding of security and compliance as well as technical evidence and audit requirements
- Analytical, structured and independent working style with a strong solution orientation
- Fluent German skills; English and/or French skills are an advantage
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
