It runs the youth center in the Zeughaus area, visits youth-specific hotspots in public spaces, and carries out various projects such as youth jobs, the Sports Night, or the Beauty Studio. Youth Work Specialist 60%

Your main tasks

• You are responsible for the professional operation of the youth center with
• You accompany young people in a low-threshold manner in the transition to adulthood with individual and group counseling
• Gender-specific youth work with young women, such as leading the "Girls Meeting" format
• You are administratively and professionally responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects, events, and offers
• You develop resources for youth activities and work with local key persons, schools, the youth service of the city police, the youth prosecutor's office, neighborhood organizations, local and cantonal networks

You bring with you

• You have practical experience in working with young people as well as a degree in social work, socio-cultural animation, or psychology
• You bring a great understanding and interest in the reality and phase of youth
• You are an open, empathetic, and resilient person
• You have proven experience in project work
• You enjoy working in a team, act reflectively, and present yourself confidently
• You are willing to work irregular hours (Friday evenings and occasionally on weekends)
