Medical Controller, 80 - 100%The Office of Health ensures a high-quality and economically sustainable healthcare provision in the Canton of Zurich. It guarantees seamless medical treatment and care and promotes the health of the Zurich population.
The Department of Supply Planning plans and manages healthcare provision in the canton. To this end, it procures services according to demand, monitors their delivery, and promotes treatment quality.
For performance controlling, the further development of the SPLG systematics, and the content-related processing of the associated SPLG Grouper software, we are looking for a Medical Controller, 80-100%, to start immediately or by arrangement.
Tasks
In your role, you actively shape the future of the Zurich hospital landscape. Within the framework of performance mandate controlling, you monitor compliance with the performance mandates of the cantonal hospital planning in the areas of acute somatics, psychiatry, and rehabilitation. You develop the requirements and criteria of hospital planning in general as well as of the individual hospital planning service groups (SPLG) and model these in the specially developed SPLG Grouper. Furthermore, you participate in projects for coordinated hospital planning and lead your own projects in your area of expertise. You also represent the office in cantonal and national working groups and maintain regular exchanges with various specialists.
Requirements
You have completed further training as a Medical Controller and bring several years of professional experience in this field as well as in a hospital. Ideally, you also hold a university degree in human medicine. You are very familiar with the Swiss healthcare system and have sound knowledge of the coding catalogues CHOP and ICD. You are skilled at analysing complex matters, abstracting them, and translating them into digital solutions. You quickly familiarise yourself with new subject areas, enjoy interdisciplinary work, and convince through your structured, independent, and goal-oriented working style. You are able to convey complex content appropriately and understandably to the target audience. In addition, you have very good IT skills and a strong affinity for digital applications. Knowledge of hospital planning service groups and French language skills are advantageous.
