We are an independent family business headquartered in Wichtrach with additional locations in the canton of Bern. With around 170 employees, we reliably supply our customers with building materials, bend steel to measure, and shape concrete – with great passion, expertise, and our own solar power.

This is how you contribute to the baumat team

You accompany our precast concrete element projects from the initial enquiry to execution. In doing so, you are the important interface between customers, sales, planning, and production.

This is how you get involved

• You check enquiries, clarify technical details, and prepare quotations.
• You process customer orders and maintain the relevant data in the ERP system.
• You model concrete elements in 3D and create execution plans, parts lists, and production documents.
• You coordinate the necessary information for production.
• You keep an eye on deadlines, costs, and technical requirements.
• You actively contribute to improving our processes, interfaces, and digital workflows.

This is what sets you apart

• You have a technical basic education, for example as a draughtsperson EFZ in architecture/structural engineering, site manager, metal construction technician, or a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you have experience with 3D CAD. If you are not yet familiar with Allplan but are technically strong, we will teach you the rest.
• You have technical understanding and enjoy constructive solutions.
• You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner.
• You enjoy exchanging ideas with customers, project participants, and internal teams.
• You are interested in digital tools and the further development of processes.
• You keep an overview and communicate clearly, even when several projects are running in parallel.
