EB Zürich, Cantonal School for Vocational Education, is an innovative service provider for vocational training. It designs educational programmes for the Canton of Zurich, companies and organisations with the aim of preparing employees for the changing demands of the labour market.
From 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed IT specialist for our IT services. The IT services operate and further develop the ICT infrastructure of EB Zürich for administration and education. The position combines classic server and system technology with modern cloud, identity and endpoint management tasks.
Your tasks
- You operate and further develop the servers and platform services, in particular Windows Server, Microsoft 365
- You plan and manage deployment, as well as software and device management with Microsoft Configuration Manager
- You maintain directory services (Active Directory and Group Policies) and maintain the mail services
- You are responsible for maintaining system documentation and the support website
- You train employees on application additions or new entries
- You support the educational departments in developing ICT concepts
- You are responsible for the entire system technology (including M365, Windows Server, building and maintaining identity management, maintenance of IT services and server services)
- You are involved in first-level support
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Federal VET Diploma in System Technology or a comparable qualification and at least 3 years of professional experience in platform development, system technology or a similar ICT infrastructure
- You are familiar with identity and access management, data analysis, O365 and Azure Cloud, data warehouse, quality and interface management
- You work independently but are also a valuable team player by thinking along and contributing new ideas
- You have a high willingness to learn and continuously update your knowledge according to current developments
- You express yourself confidently in written and spoken German; English skills, especially in a technical environment, are an advantage
- You are willing to occasionally work on Sundays when necessary tasks arise
