To support Credit Risk Management Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Mortgage Officer for the operational processing of mortgage positions. The position includes the analysis and processing of new applications, reviews of existing loans as well as the extension and securing of maturities in compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.YOUR TASKS
Independent analysis as well as support of the Mortgage Officers in processing mortgage loan applications, credit decisions, preparing credit formalities and ordering land charges and other additional securities; general correspondence
Organization and execution of maturity management as well as mortgage extensions
Initiation and coordination of legal securities, especially land charges and additional securities, in cooperation with notaries, land registry offices and internal departments
Written and telephone communication with internal interfaces such as mortgage advisors, relationship managers as well as external partners and authorities
Processing incoming inquiries about mortgage applications and ongoing positions from all regions of Switzerland
Ensuring complete and audit-proof documentation in accordance with internal guidelines and banking supervisory requirements
YOUR PROFILE
Completed studies in Finance, Business Administration or a commercial basic education (KV) with proven further training in banking or credit business
3+ years of professional experience in operational mortgage business at a bank or financial institution in Switzerland
Solid understanding of Swiss mortgage law, land charge system and standardized credit processes
Confident handling of MS Office tools (especially Word, Excel); experience with internal banking systems is an advantage (wincredit would be a plus)
Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
French skills (level B2 or higher) are an advantage, especially for communication with Western Swiss authorities or partners
Solid communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
Structured, careful and independent working style with a high level of quality awareness
Strong service orientation and reliability in dealing with internal and external contacts
Willingness to collaborate in a collegial and dynamic team environment
