About the job
Your responsibilities
During your training, you will learn to:
- Prepare hot and cold dishes according to the seasons for the restaurant and cafeteria
- Prepare foods for cooking: cleaning, peeling, cutting...
- Apply different cooking methods
- Prepare and plate the dishes that make up the daily menu
- Know and respect hygiene standards
- Work as part of a team within a brigade
- Manage stressful situations
- Conduct culinary demonstrations.
- Maintain equipment and premises.
Your profile
Could you be our future apprentice cook?
- You have successfully completed compulsory schooling
- You have achieved average grades in the main subjects
- You have completed internships to validate your professional project (ideally 3)
- You have a good general and culinary culture: an asset
- Aged 18 to 22 years
- Passionate about cooking and motivated to make it your profession
- Ready to fully commit until you obtain your diploma
- Comfortable with early hours (06:00 – 15:00)
- Sensitive to the rigor and demands of haute cuisine
- Open to apprentices who have already completed 1 or 2 years with another employer and wish to continue their training in a new environment
- Mandatory to attach (internship certificate, report card, online CV)
