We are looking for a motivated student to support the digitalization of our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Student S&OP Process Digitalization (m/w/d) 40%
The primary purpose of this role is to centralize software proficiency within the S&OP process and help establish a solid foundation for production planning digitalization. This is a hands-on, process-oriented role ideal for a student with a strong interest in supply chain, operations, and data-driven planning.
Your Role – Strategic. Global. Impactful.
- Get familiar with the software tools being introduced across the S&OP process, covering production planning, data gathering, and demand sensing.
- Actively embed software knowledge into S&OP routines – acting as the go-to person for tool usage within the process.
- Support the setup and rollout of digital solutions for production planning and data gathering.
- Assist in data collection, structuring, and maintenance to enable reliable S&OP inputs.
- Collaborate with the S&OP team to identify gaps and opportunities for further digitalization.
- Document workflows, tool guides, and process steps to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.
- Experience in Microsoft Power Platform is a strong plus
Your Profile – Visionary. Collaborative. Data-driven.
- Business administration, computer science, or natural science studies (e.g., bioinformatics).
- IT proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a strong plus; at minimum, the willingness to independently develop competency in the platform.
- Basic programming skills requiredFluency in English is required; conversational German is a strong asset (working language in the local team is German/English).
- Engaged, flexible, independent and reliableStructured working approach.
- Curiosity about supply chain and manufacturing logic – not expertise required, but genuine interestComfort working with legacy data and systems – ability to improve processes incrementally
