Airfreight Specialist Aerospace (100%)

Your tasks

• Independent handling of aerospace airfreight shipments in export (AOG, aircraft parts, engines and time-critical shipments)
• Organisation of pre-carriage, airline bookings as well as export customs clearance
• Monitoring shipments from order placement to delivery
• Preparation and checking of transport documents as well as correct invoicing
• Proactive communication with customers, airlines, agents, customs authorities and DHL stations worldwide
• Ensuring compliance with airfreight security, export control and compliance requirements
• Active escalation management in case of irregularities and critical transports

Your profile

• Completed commercial training in forwarding or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in airfreight export, ideally in the aerospace environment
• Good knowledge of customs and export regulations as well as MS Office
• High customer orientation, resilience and independent working style
• Very good German and English skills
• Knowledge of airfreight security (BAZL) and dangerous goods is an advantage
