R&D Engineer

Your tasks

• Develop new, innovative products whose requirements go beyond the norm
• Work out solution approaches together with the customer and realize the technical feasibility as well as derive costs for these solutions
• Identify the requirements for production, tools and materials
• Involve external suppliers and development partners
• Create setups and development plans, and accompany their implementation in production together with process engineers
• Complete the learning curve by documenting test orders and initiate the planning of the next steps
• Handover and support of projects after completion of the development phase to the product engineers according to defined guidelines
• Conduct strategic research and development projects
• Technical presentations at conferences and trade fairs
• Travel activity max. 5%

Your profile

• Scientific or engineering studies (university/university of applied sciences), preferably in mechanical engineering, medical technology or physics
• Experience in a comparable function is an advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Quick comprehension, ability to set priorities correctly, networked thinking
• Teamwork skills and a certain willingness to travel
• Good German and English skills, spoken and written
