You are enthusiastic about bicycles and want to actively contribute to the development of innovative products? Become part of Thömus and take responsibility for your own projects in a dynamic and performance-oriented environment. You will take early responsibility for development projects and accompany them from the idea to series production – focusing on e-bikes, bio-bikes, and accessories. You will work closely with various teams and actively contribute to the development of high-quality products.

Your tasks – You make a difference:

• Leading and supporting product development projects
• Defining technical requirements in collaboration with product managers
• Supporting 3D design of components and assemblies (SolidWorks is an advantage)
• Developing and evaluating technical solutions
• Coordinating development, prototyping, testing, and industrialization
• Ensuring deadlines, priorities, and delivery results
• Close collaboration with industrial design, production, and marketing
• Communication with suppliers and occasional on-site visits
• Contributing to product quality and performance

Your profile – what you bring:

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering
• Very good English skills
• Basic knowledge of German (highly recommended)
• Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks is an advantage)
• Knowledge in the field of fiber composite materials
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
• Interest in simulation tools (an advantage)
• Passion for bicycles
• Sense of responsibility and initiative
• Structured, organized, and goal-oriented working style
• Team player with good communication skills
• Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable personality
• Willingness to travel occasionally to suppliers
