To strengthen our team in the stationery and travel goods sector in Bern, we are looking for a competent individual from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement as

Department Manager: Stationery/Travel 100% (m/f/d)

Would you like to support our sales management with your leadership experience and continually inspire our customers with your professionalism and trend/fashion expertise?

Your tasks:

• You manage the departments according to the sales management's guidelines
• You ensure optimal, smooth sales and customer service
• You support the sales management in leading the sales staff
• You assist in supervising our apprentices in retail sales
• You help with assortment design and monitoring (reassortment)
• You enthuse as a host and embody this on the sales floor
• You ensure comprehensive and competent advice in the area of leather goods/accessories
• You create an attractive sales atmosphere and help generate new regular customers
• You operate the cash register professionally
• You manage and present our stationery and travel assortment
• You support the sales management in general administrative and organisational tasks

Your profile:

• You have completed training as a retail specialist, preferably in the stationery sector
• You have already gained some leadership experience
• You are a trend/fashion-interested personality with a winning charisma, impeccable manners and a neat, fashionable appearance
• You enjoy organisation and selling as well as have a feel for our customers
• You possess a high level of commitment, are dedicated and motivated
• You have confident German language skills (any additional language is appreciated by our international clientele)
