Development Engineer: Tooling Construction 80 - 100%
Your area of responsibility
Together with other maxon experts, you develop a variety of tooling in the field of EC and DC motor assembly. The following core tasks are part of your area of activity:
- Design and development of machines, fixtures and tools in close collaboration with production engineering and control technology
- Creation of design drawings and parts lists in CAD (Creo)
- Development and realisation of tooling using additive manufacturing technology (FDM and SLA processes)
- Development and execution of tests in the laboratory to validate new automation solutions for production and assembly processes.
- Creation of tool concepts, prototypes and technical documentation
This job is just right for you if you...
- want to contribute your expertise from mechanical engineering (design, polymechanics or similar) with further training.
- have experience in the development of machines, fixtures and tools.
- have a pronounced technical understanding and imagination combined with a quick grasp.
- have knowledge of relevant industry standards and norms.
- enjoy being pragmatic, team-oriented and communicative.
- want to bring solid experience with the CAD system and preferably also with 3D printing.
