About the job
The Grants Office St.Gallen is part of the Vice-Rectorate for Research & Faculty and supports researchers at the University of St.Gallen (HSG), the University of Teacher Education St.Gallen (PHSG), and the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST). We provide support throughout the entire project cycle: we assist in finding suitable funding instruments, in preparing and submitting applications, as well as in the administration of awarded research funds.
Your tasks
- Participation in strategic projects of the Vice-Rectorate for Research & Faculty (PRF), especially in the area of research funding
- Support for the Deputy Director of Research in the PRF and Head of the Grants Office on current topics and projects in research funding
- Participation in topics and projects of the Grants Office team
- Advising on funding instruments (internal to HSG and external), together with the Grants Office advisory team
Your profile
- Successfully completed university degree; a doctorate is desirable
- At least two years of solid professional experience in the relevant field
- Proven experience in independently managing projects
- Sound basic knowledge of research funding as well as active research management
- Very good German and English skills (level C1) in spoken and written form
