About the job
Microdul AG in Zurich City specialises in high-quality microelectronics with around 100 employees and three business areas: Modules, Semiconductors and Thick Film. Our core competence lies in the development and production of miniaturised electronic circuits, realised in close collaboration with our customers - mainly in medical technology. For the Purchasing & Logistics department, we are looking for a new team member by arrangement.
Your Tasks
In close cooperation with various internal and external customers, your tasks are:
- Planning and release of production orders (including material setup)
- Confirming delivery dates and responsibility for their adherence
- Placing orders with external processors and ensuring timely delivery
- Contact person for customers regarding all questions about delivery dates and deliveries
- Interface between production, quality assurance, development and logistics
- Key user for the introduction of the new ERP system (Pro Alpha) in the planning area
- Maintenance of master data in the ERP system and processing of inquiries regarding conflict material
- Support of purchasing in tracking overdue component deliveries
- General support of other areas within the department during holiday absences or high workloads
- Participation in projects to improve processes along the entire logistics chain and assistance with customer inventories
- Deputising for the sales back office & administration
What You Bring
- Completed training as a commercial clerk EFZ with appropriate further training
- 3+ years of professional experience in production planning, ideally in medical technology or electronics manufacturing
- Independent, structured and proactive working style as well as the ability to keep an overview even in a dynamic environment. You enjoy working independently and keep a cool head even in hectic times
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel and strong IT affinity
- Experience with ERP systems; knowledge in the introduction or further development of PPS/APS solutions is an advantage
- Initiative and sense of responsibility
