About the job
Reviewing and assessing applications for unemployment compensation and possibly other types of benefits as well as drafting first-instance decisions Calculating compensations and arranging timely payments Personal, written, and telephone advice to insured persons, employers, and authorities regarding unemployment insurance and employment contract law Reviewing benefit reductions and preparing corresponding decisions Cooperation with employers and other social insurance agencies (RAV, IV, SUVA, AHV, KV)
Completed commercial basic training or equivalent qualification Knowledge of social insurance or willingness to acquire it (internal training, federal specialist certificate in social insurance) Independent, structured, and careful working style Good numerical understanding as well as interest in legal issues Very good IT skills Teamwork, resilience, and flexibility Strong oral and written communication skills and empathy in dealing with insured persons Fluent German language skills in speaking and writing
