Your Tasks and Perspectives

• You actively shape infection prevention in our network: from the prevention of hospital-associated infections to the prevention of pathogen transmission and the analysis and management of outbreak situations
• You lead, coordinate and further develop programmes and interventions in the field of infection prevention. In particular, you design the surveillance of healthcare-associated infections and other infection prevention quality indicators – from the question, data collection and evaluation to interpretation and reporting
• You are responsible for our Antimicrobial Stewardship Programme and develop it strategically. This promotes the rational, evidence-based and patient-centred use of anti-infectives and clinical diagnostics
• You support and supervise specialist assistant physicians as well as professionals from various occupational groups on infection prevention issues and within the framework of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Programme
• You initiate and accompany scientific projects, evaluations and studies and contribute to the general infectious diseases service of the clinic

What You Bring to This Position

• FMH specialist title in Infectious Diseases with experience in infection prevention. The specialist title "Infection Prevention and Control in Healthcare" can be obtained with us if required.
• Enthusiasm for infection prevention and antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship
• Knowledge in project management as well as in qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods or the motivation to acquire these skills
• Interest in research, quality management and patient safety as well as a high degree of initiative, self-organisation and sense of responsibility
• Enjoy bringing people together, initiating change and developing sustainable solutions
