Team Leader Mail & Media 80 - 100%The Office for Information Technology (AFI) is the IT competence centre of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for directorates, authorities, the judiciary, and independent institutions. Commissioned with the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the Office for Information Technology supports and accompanies the Canton of Zurich into the digital world.
Leading people, further developing services, and shaping the digital future. As Team Leader "Mail & Media" you take responsibility for a specialised team and central communication and collaboration services of the Canton of Zurich. Together with your team, you ensure secure and stable operations, drive new technologies forward, and actively shape the digital collaboration of the cantonal administration.
In addition to providing a robust and stable communication platform based on HCL and Exchange, we also ensure that room technology in the administration functions reliably.
Your tasks:
- You lead the Mail & Media team both professionally and personally and continuously develop it.
- As Service Owner, you are responsible for central communication and collaboration services of the Canton of Zurich.
- Together with your team, you ensure secure, stable, and economical operation of the platforms you are responsible for.
- You drive the further development of services, architectures, and processes and specifically deploy new technologies.
- You advise internal customers, develop concepts, and accompany their implementation.
- You manage external service providers, participate in projects, and actively contribute to the strategic development of the area.
Your profile:
- Completed studies or comparable education in the field of computer science.
- Several years of experience in the operation and further development of Microsoft and M365 platforms.
- Leadership experience or the motivation to take the next career step into a leadership role.
- Knowledge of ITIL and service management processes.
- Knowledge of encryption technologies and secure transmission paths (TCP/IP).
- Interest in cloud technologies, automation, and modern IT architectures.
- Networked thinking, consulting skills, and enjoyment in collaborating with different stakeholders.
