The Centre for Primary Education (CEDP) is part of the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Fribourg. Its mission is to train primary school teachers, provide services in continuing education, research and development.

Field of activity

Teaching in the field of "professional identity, communication and educational sciences"

Supervision of students training to become primary school teachers

Collaboration within teacher education for the primary level

Supervision of Bachelor theses

Support for students in professional practice training

Requirements

Master's degree in educational sciences or a related field

Primary teaching diploma

Excellent knowledge of the primary education field in French-speaking Switzerland

Proven skills in educational research approaches

Experience in supervising diploma work is desirable

Excellent command of the French language with passive knowledge of German if possible

Language requirements

French

with knowledge of the other language
